On top of all that, I am also a pretty awesome guy.

Work History

2010 - Present

Freelance

I have been working freelance full time since late June 2010, apart from my time at Web Force Five. Throughout this period I have completed a range of projects for individuals and served as an external resource for some major Web companies in Melbourne.

I had also performed occassional freelance work before the decision to move to full time.

Web Force Five

I worked 3 months at Web Force Five in the closing quarter of 2010. Initially I was not looking for a permanent role, but the opportunity seemed to have a lot of potential so I went for it.

Web Force Five were a start up company who had developed a proprietry CMS, I stepped on board to design the CMS backend and a few client websites, eventually the plan was to lead a design team.

Unfortunately the role wasn't for me, design on its own just wasn't enough. I really missed writing HTML and experimenting with javascript, so I had no choice but to move on.

2008-2010

ROI.com.au

I worked for ROI.com.au for just shy of 2 years initially as a Junior Web Designer and eventually I progressed into a Senior position. I performed much more than just design for ROI.com.au, including HTML/CSS builds, Flash and PHP development, Search Engine Optimisation, technical support and project management.

Throughout my time at ROI.com.au I designed and developed in excess of 30 full websites and completed a number of internal web projects including the upgrade and continual upkeep of their company website. I also conceptualised, designed and fully developed multiple Real Estate marketing concepts such as PatonEarth and Lifestyle Property.

Tundra

I completed one week of work experience for Tundra in 2008 and it was a real eye opener to the skill level of some of the people in the field. My role involved making changes to and updating various client flash websites such as CoffeeHQ and Ripe Maternity.

2007

CumminsNitro

I performed almost a month of Work Experience for CumminsNitro (formerly Cummins and Partners). My role here basically required me to create a flash website for Vixen Condoms based off provided designs. I also created flash banners and a flash landing page for realestate.com.au.
